When it comes to RC Carl describes himself as a typical club racer. He enjoys a close race over an easy win. The hobby is about having fun and taking part. Often busy prepping multiple cars and cameras he does not maintain the tidiest pits in the world but he is nearly always smiling.

Getting people into the hobby and experiencing the fun of RC cars is what drives him to keep pushing Popalong to be bigger and better.

FIRST CAR : TAMIYA HOTSHOT

FAVORITE CAR : Tamiya M-chassis cars are Carls favourite cars for racing and he is always on the look out for the next best mini.

FAVORITE TRACK : SOUTH HANTS

BEST RACE : This year it is Tamiya truck racing has been great but running his stadium truck was great fun.

POPALONG HIGHLIGHT : being able to visit the Schumacher factory was amazing and it will be hard to beat.

When it comes to RC, Mark is a bit of a perfectionist and takes great pride in building and maintaining his fleet of cars. He does love a tidy car with clean soldering. He is highly competitive and he is practicing what he preaches, keeping his cool when under pressure.
